1920. War and Love

Synopsis

Three veterans of the Great War, three uniformed officers,three of our invaders, are bound by the fate on the battlefield in the last days of World War I. All three go to the POW camp. When a new Poland arise, all three report to the Polish Army, but to different formations: one will be the liaison officer between the intelligence (Division II, the cipher Bureau), and the Supreme Command and the Chief. The second of our heroes will join infantry, and after breaking his unit he will join the formation of Ulanska cavalry unit for special tasks, today we would say - rangers. The third will serve in quartermaster armies. Watching their fate we will be introduced to main characters, especially three: siblings from Dąbrówka and scout from Warsaw. The action will be connected with a war, but we know also their personal lives. These are young people, who have just started a real life, just as - together with them and thanks to them - the young Polish state. Their fate will be, however, very different - not all will survive, others after the trauma of war will no longer be the same, because the war, even the fair one, to defend the homeland, is after all the war. The series consists of two shorts periods: from November 1918 to February 1919 and from May 1920 until the end of August 1920.
